WISHING LAWRIE DRING MANY HAPPY RETURNS!

WISHING LAWRIE DRING MANY HAPPY RETURNS!

/images/lawrie.jpgThe B-PSA would like to wish Lawrie Dring a very happy 80th birthday.

Lawrie is known far and wide in the Scouting world as 'Bob'. Lawrie first became involved in Scouting over 60 years ago and has had many adventures around the world - in fact Lawrie's first experience as a leader was with a German Wolf Cub Pack! Lawrie became ever more committed to Scouting when, in 1970, he was one of the founding members of the B-PSA. In 1996, Lawrie's worldwide connections proved invaluable when he was a founding member of The World Federation of International Scouts. Lawrie held many posts with the B-PSA - most recently as President, International Commissioner and Chairman of the National Committee. Despite being so busy, Lawrie has remained an active leader with his Scout Group; First Yorkshire. Last summer Lawrie travelled to Canada with his scouts for two weeks of summer camp - a fantastic experience for all involved.

The B-PSA will forever be indebted for Lawrie's committment, foresight and, most of all, friendship. We would like to take the oppourtunity to wish Lawrie Many Happy Returns.

Good Scouting!
